Alila Hotel Jakarta : One of The Best Hotels in Jakarta

Alila Hotel Jakarta

Alila Hotel Jakarta Review
Pecenongan area is a strategic area because of many culinary attractions and close to many historical places in Jakarta such as Monas, National Museum, State Palace, Textil Museum and also Old Town area. In addition, Alila Hotel Jakarta is also only about 4 km from Sudirman - Thamrin business district. No wonder the Hotel is the choice for many people to stay because of its strategic location. And to complete the curiosity with this hotel, I decided to stay in the 4-star hotel which was established since May 2001. Let's see what facilities are located in Hotel Alila Jakarta.

Alila Hotel Jakarta

Alila Hotel Jakarta

Once we set foot in the lobby, we will see a spacious and elongated room decorated with dark granite floors, as well as charming interiors ranging from decoration to paintings. Although already present since 2001, but I still see a hotel with modern nuances. The reception desk is in the left corner of the room with the concierge always ready to serve the needs of the hotel guests. There is also a spacious lobby lounge with high ceiling. Here we can sit back while reading the newspaper or ordering drinks.
Alila Hotel Jakarta

Next to the lounge is a garden called Zen Garden with Cambodian trees and gray rocks. Zen Garden is located in the middle between the lobby lounge and restaurant. It's nice to sit for a long time in the lobby lounge or at breakfast at the restaurant while looking at this park.
Alila Hotel Jakarta

In Alila Hotel Jakarta, there are 257 rooms and suites with various types. From Deluxe Room, Executive Room, Executive Premier Room, Executive Suite Room, Executive Club Suite Room and All Suite Room.

Alila Hotel Jakarta

The corridor leading to the rooms was lined with thick carpets with good lighting. Some of the corridor walls are decorated with paintings. No need to worry about walking in the corridor even though night. The room key is a color-shaped card that is my favorite color. You know, I'm a blue lover. I got room numbered 905 which means I'm on the 9th floor.

This is the Executive Premier Room room I occupy on the 9th floor. The rooms are spacious enough. There were 4 big pillows and 2 small pillows above the bed. The mattress was very soft. Imagine how sleepy I sleep at night. The floor of the room is wood or parquet.

Some other facilities that we can find in the room of Hotel Alila Jakarta is LCD TV with sufficient channels with a clean image. A water heater complete with coffee, tea and cream is available on the table in sufficient quantities. You just choose want to make any hot drink.

In the closet there are several hanger to hang clothes, then there are bathrobe, slippers, safe deposit box and flashlight. If you want a long stay here, this cabinet is more than enough to store neatly all the clothes.

The bathroom position is beside the bed. Typically, the latest hotels separate the bedroom with bathroom and use transparent glass. The room interception at Hotel Alila Jakarta is separated by sliding door with matching color like cabinet, So when the door is closed, then we like to see a long line of cabinets.

The bathroom is quite spacious with a shower in it. The hot water facility is definitely there. Toiletries are also quite complete. Two thick towels for toiletries are available and two small towels are also provided in the bathroom.

After relaxing for a moment in the room, in the afternoon I was invited down to Buzz Restaurant to see the action Chef Alex Ensor cooking menu mainstay of Alila Hotel Jakarta. The menu that was cooked that afternoon was named Fresh Squid Inq Pasta. This is a pasta menu made in squid ink and served with sauce along with prawns and scallops. The pasta sauce made of tomato sauce, chili paste and dried tomatoes tasted fresh in the mouth.

At night I headed to Alila Spa which is on the 6th floor to enjoy massage for 1 hour. Treatment available at Alila Spa is diverse. There are massage, reflexology, facial masks, body treatments, scrubs and wraps and hair treatment. Before starting the massage, the therapist offered me a warm drink. I was also asked to choose oil to use for massage. There are 3 oil options offered and I choose one that best suits the taste. Alila Spa therapist massage is really good, I fell asleep during the massage process and was awakened to turn over. Finished massage I again offered a warm drink. Very enjoyable...!!

The New Jakarta Tourism Destination : Pandang Istana Park

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok), inaugurated the news Jakarta Tourism Destination, Pandang Istana Park, last year. Soon, this park becomes one of the most favorite Jakarta Tourism Destination for Jakarta citizens.

It is located next to Monas cross. This park is filled with the visitors who are sitting around or taking photos with the background of the park.

Like Devi (20), the hijab woman chooses to take a rest in the park after tired walk from Car Free Day event in Hotel Indonesia roundabout.

"While passed through, I sit here first and take photos for Instagram," Devi said with her two friends.

She claimed to just know there is a such beautiful garden near Monas. This was only an empty space before. And now becomes one of the most favorite Jakarta Tourism Destination.

"I just knew, surprised while passing through, maybe next week I will stop by here again," she added.

The park that was built with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of a cement company was very pretty for photo object.

There are many ornaments surrounded the park, in the left side, a 10 meter colorful knit fabric hanging out. This is the most favorite place to take photo. Moreover, there are tens colorful lanterns. In the night, they look very beautiful.

"This was an idea when the demonstrators insisted to convey aspirations, looking at the Palace. So we thought of using the name 'Aspiration Park' only, but the name seemed less, so we suggested to the palace and we changed its name to 'Pandang Istana Park', "Ahok said during the inauguration on Saturday (30/7/2016).

One of Jakarta Tourism Destination that is not too popular for travelers is Situlembang Park in Central Jakarta. It is only 350 meters from Suropati Park.

At first, the park is a sub system reservoir of Cideng river, to hold water from the water sources around it. The government then build an open area. In 1984, Jakarta Park Services renovates it and build 4 fountains fulfilled with lotus and fishing shacks. In 2002, the park is renovated again to suit as a public park.

It is located in elite area, Menteng and not too crowded, so you can enjoy the cozy atmosphere.
If Suropati has a fountain, Situlembang Park has a pretty wide lake with a fountain in the middle and lotus spread over it.

You can reach there by foot from Suropati Park. We can enter Situlembang park through Suropati street from Megaria to Hotel Indonesia roundabout or from Suropati street, turn right to Syamsurizal street and then turn left to Lembang Street.

There is also a playground and you can do fishing freely. The tall trees make the air cool, and the tidy and clean jogging track make you are able to do some exercises in the morning or in the afternoon.

Many kinds of fish are kept here, like goldfish, tilapia fish and gurame fish. The park guard said that the fish deliberately spread to attract the visitors.

It is one of my favorite Jakarta Tourism destination

It is one of the oldest parks in Jakarta. The water source is from the natural water source. The park is open for all and free. If you pocket is empty you are not prohibited to bring some meals.

The kids can play in the playground with teir parents, while the adults can try some fitness equipments in Menteng Park.
